Laura Fly’s love of jewelry and gemstones began as a child when she created jewelry with found materials. One thing led to another and she took metalsmithing and jewelry design at a community college while still in high school. Laura earned a B.A. in art concentrating in metalsmithing and jewelry design.
Before setting up her own studio in 2001, she apprenticed for 4 years with a local jewelry designer. Laura hand-fabricates each part of her designs from sterling silver that she accents with gemstones, pearls and 14K gold. Each piece is a unique combination of stones and silver with fine craftsmanship.
