Treasure Pouches by Amy Evenlight Eagles

Elk skin hand sewn pouches

A resident of the High Country mountains, Amy Evenlight Eagles creates these unique Treasure Pouches from legally hunted elk used for sustenance. The clasps are from fossilized teeth and worn pieces of tusk gathered from privately owned Native lands in the Alaskan Tundra during the spring ice melt.

The visible stitching is done by hand while the inside stitching is done by machine. Each pouch has a loop strap that can be easily shortened. The strap and walrus ivory cinch to form the closure.

Each one is unique and each person will find just the right treasure for their special leather pouch.
