Our area is fortunate to host a wolf-dog (wolf hybrid) rescue and sanctuary - Full Moon Farm in Black Mountain, a federally recognized non-profit. This coming weekend, they will be celebrating their 10th Anniversary with a tour of the facility and pot luck supper on Saturday Sept. 1, 2012. On the tour you will meet some of the beautiful wolf dogs in person and learn how they came to be at the farm. Covering 17 acres, the farm cares for 70 wolf dogs right now and 4 cats meander the grounds outside the enclosures. For more information please visit Full Moon Farm's web site or Facebook page.
